This is to inform you of a change to the vendor set up schedule and vendor room opening Thursday April 6, 2017.
Originally we had advertised that the vendor room for the Sn3 Symposium would be available for set up between 12:00 noon and 6:00pm. The hotel recently informed us that a glitch in the computer software caused a scheduling conflict between ours and another convention. The vendor room will not be available to us until 8:00pm that evening. The other group will be leaving our room at 7:00pm and the hotel assures us the room will be reconfigured no later than 8:00pm.
Therefore the following changes are in order. The symposium registration desk will be open as scheduled at 12:00 noon on Thursday. We will extend the close time on Thursday to 11:00pm for the Vendor Room.
The Contest Room and Clinic Room will commence operations on time at 6:00pm Thursday.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.
|Jefferson City Layout Tours|
Due to the passing of John Waite & Tom Troughton, the only layouts that will be open at this time will be Allen Pollock, John Scherr & Rich Severence. Check with Allen Pollock at firstname.lastname@example.org or 573-619-8532 for layout times and maps. Check back for any future revisions.
|Bar-B-Q, Beer & Trains, A Welcome Party|
For those folks arriving early, Pete Smith will host a kick-off party at his place on Wednesday evening, April 5th, from 5:00 to 9:00pm. Come by and enjoy some Bar-B-Q, adult beverages and run trains. If you have a DCC equipped loco you're itching to run, bring it along, K-27 or smaller. There is no charge for this event. For planning purposes, the host would appreciate an email heads-up if you plan to attend. Contact him at email@example.com. Symposium registrants will be provided with Pete's address at a later date.
A large Sn3 estate will be offered for sale in the manufacturers room. It will include a brass collection, rolling stock, structure kits, car kits and miscellaneous parts. This will be an extraordinary opportunity to fill out your needs. Note: this is not the Troughton estate although there may be a few remining items from Tom's collection available at the show.
